Marisa Ruane

The pieces in the show are some of my favorite photo-art pieces that I have created over the years. I use a traditional Minolta 35mm camera and digital imaging. I am a Long Island Native but lived most of my teenage and adult life in western Mass. I currently reside in the Frederick, MD area.

I have traveled extensively across America and when you see my work I never stuck to a certain medium. I enjoy the variety of stills, humanists and landscapes in black and white, sepia, watercolors and charcoal sketch.

Capturing the image is just the beginning. When I finish each piece what was first just a picture now is a work of art with its own story.

Each one of these special photo-art pieces (Original & Limited-Edition) are personally titled and signed. I use the best quality of silk, velvet and canvas photo material with the finest archival quality mats.
